DDC Chairman, Vice Chairman, Members Boycott Meeting Called By Deputy Commissioner Jammu

DDC Chairman Jammu and Ex MLA, Bharat Bhushan, Vice Chairman Suraj Singh Bhau along with newly elected members of the District Development Council boycotted meeting called by the Deputy Commissioner, Jammu.

DDC Chairman questioned letter No.- DDC/CPO/Meeting/2020-21/5799-5806 Dated February 13, 2020 issued by CPO Jammu whereby Chairman DDC Jammu has been informed and asked to participate in a meeting convened by Deputy Commissioner Jammu regarding PMGSY roads in the district of Jammu.

DDC Chairman said that the administration has not officially informed all the DDC members timely due to which they had boycotted today’s meeting and letter is violative of the essence of the very institution of District Development Councils.
